You have full control over your Sound Orbit account and the data associated with it. This page explains how to delete your account, how to request deletion of specific data, and what happens to your information.
Delete your account (in-app)
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the app:
Open Sound Orbit
Go to Profile → Settings
Scroll to Delete Account
Confirm — you'll be asked to re-authenticate for security
Your account and associated data are permanently deleted. This cannot be undone.
Request account deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email support@soundorbitapp.com from the address associated with your account with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We'll verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.
Request deletion of specific data
If you'd like to delete certain data without deleting your entire account, email support@soundorbitapp.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and specify what you'd like removed (for example: saved mixes, shared community mixes, dream journal entries, or session history). We'll process your request within 30 days.
You can also delete most content directly in the app at any time — saved mixes, community posts, dream journal entries, and session history can each be removed individually.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
Your profile and display name
All saved mixes and generated artwork
Session history, progress, streaks, and experience
Dream journal entries
Inner Orbit game progress
Your artwork token balance
Community posts you've shared
Verification records associated with your account
What is retained
Anonymized, non-identifying records required for fraud prevention and abuse protection (for example, one-way hashes used to prevent trial abuse). These cannot be linked back to you or used to identify you.
Transaction records required by law and by Google Play for tax, accounting, and refund purposes. Subscriptions are managed through Google Play — deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. To cancel, go to Google Play → Subscriptions.
Health data is never collected by us. Any data read from Health Connect stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers, so there is nothing for us to delete.
Retention period
Account and personal data are deleted immediately upon confirmation in-app, or within 30 days of an emailed request. Anonymized fraud-prevention hashes and legally-required transaction records are retained as described above.
